Summary

Letterboxd Review Saver does not collect, store, or transmit any user data. Everything happens locally in your browser.

Data Collection

This extension collects no data whatsoever. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected.
• No browsing history is recorded.
• No analytics or telemetry is sent.
• No cookies are set by the extension.
• No accounts or sign-ups are required.

How the Extension Works

The extension runs only on letterboxd.com pages. When you select reviews and click save, it:

• Reads review text, rating, and username from the current page's DOM.
• Fetches the reviewer's avatar image from their Letterboxd profile page (a same-site request within letterboxd.com).
• Renders a card image entirely in your browser using html2canvas.
• Downloads the resulting PNG file to your computer.

No data leaves your browser. There are no external servers, APIs, or third-party services involved.

Permissions

The extension requests access to letterboxd.com and ltrbxd.com (Letterboxd's short URL domain) to read review content and fetch avatar images. It also requests access to secure.gravatar.com, which Letterboxd uses for some user avatars. No other permissions are required.

Third-Party Services

None. The extension does not communicate with any third-party service.
